With a significant 75% of global renewable energy investments originating from the private sector, it is evident that renewable energy companies wield immense influence in shaping the trajectory of renewable energy transitions. As the world sets course to triple renewable energy capacity by 2030, the growth of the industry becomes instrumental in achieving the targets set at COP28 in Dubai. This panel will delve into the current challenges confronting companies in the renewable energy sector, how they look at the sector’s challenges and opportunities ahead, and share views on expectations leading up to 2030, with a focus on relations with governments and public-private partnerships.
The Global Renewable Alliance (GRA) serves as the single industry voice, providing a platform for collaboration and advocacy on a global scale. Within this framework, GRA hosts dialogues that convene diverse voices from the private sector. This panel aims to address the multifaceted challenges encountered by renewable energy companies worldwide.
